Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor to lead poultry debone and slaughter processing operations. You will guide supervisors and hourly staff, ensure safety and quality, and drive productivity to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, coordinating with QA for USDA compliance, and implementing process improvements while controlling costs. Weekend/shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years in manufacturing, or an associate degree with 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years leadership/supervisory experience of 20+ people.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist supervisors with training and productivity goals.
• Manage production process and employee performance with feedback.
• Promote safety in the work area and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure timely reporting and data accuracy for operations.
• Coach and develop employees; provide ongoing feedback on strengths and improvements.
• Coordinate with QA to maintain food safety and USDA compliance.
• Set procedures to meet production schedules, efficiency, and budget goals.
• Maximize yields and throughput while reducing downtime and turnover.
• Plan process improvements and control costs through continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs; perform other duties as assigned.
