Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Onboarding Trainer to mentor and coach new team members as they acclimate to production processes at our Acorn facility. You will partner with Operations, Orientation, and Safety to support the 60-day probation period, delivering hands-on training across departments and ensuring compliance with food safety and GMP requirements.

You will spend the majority of time on hands-on training while also supporting orientation and check-ins at set milestones, fostering a culture

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related training experience in manufacturing or production.
• Fluent English; Spanish and/or French helpful.
• Experience leading or supporting training initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor new team members.
• Ability to document evaluations, check-ins, and feedback forms.
• Willingness to work hands-on in production areas.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and safety practices.
• Ability to model CARES values in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training in assigned departments for new hires.
• Spend ~70% time on hands-on training in production.
• Monitor new hires and set expectations for techniques.
• Demonstrate and coach proper job execution.
• Assist Orientation Trainer during new hire orientation week.
• Check in with new hires at 2/4/7 weeks.
• Conduct daily evaluations to track progress.
• Analyze processes to identify training needs.
• Communicate concerns to leads and supervisors.
• Serve as SME on the production floor.
• Support compliance topics (food safety, GMPs, safety, etc.).
• Provide feedback through survey forms.
