Farmer Focus is seeking a Lead Machine Operator for the Acorn packing plant. You will operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment and provide day-to-day guidance to machine operators.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to food safety requirements while coordinating tasks with production management. You will train operators, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex problems to maintenance.

Qualifications

• General mathematical ability.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
• Ability to identify mechanical issues and communicate with management.
• Ability to train and coach operators.
• Ability to work weekends and shifts as needed.

Responsabilités

• Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned machinery and equipment.
• Lead by example to maintain quality, productivity, and equipment standards.
• Follow safety and food safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain and test mechanical equipment and components.
• Coordinate daily operator assignments with production management.
• Read and follow lockout/tagout and confined space procedures.
• Provide hands-on support during equipment setup and troubleshooting.
