Job summary

SugarCreek Packing Co. is seeking a production planning professional to coordinate materials with the production schedule and manage inventories for efficient operations.

You will work with plant and corporate management to implement inventory targets and improve replenishment planning and scheduling effectiveness. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Business/Logistics/Operations and 5+ years in manufacturing planning, preferably in food.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing planning or similar role; food industry preferred.
• APICS certification considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production materials with production schedule demands.
• Manage inventories to support efficient operation of the department.
• Collaborate with plant and corporate management on planning and inventory strategies.
• Liaise with supply chain and manufacturing departments as primary contact.
• Forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and related departments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and safety initiatives.
