Job summary

Cargill in Wichita, KS is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules and direct material requirements to ensure a steady flow of goods and materials to meet production needs.

The position calls for a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with at least two years of related work and preferably three years in master production planning, production scheduling or supply planning. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Three years of experience with at least one in master production planning, production scheduling or supply planning.
• SAP or PSO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish daily production plans.
• Expedite workflow and coordinate changes in schedules.
• Participate in setting master production planning, material requirements planning and scheduling targets.
• Provide input to the supply planner for the product/location.
• Maintain data related to scheduling activities including calendars and location data.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision.
