GAF in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Production Manager to lead the asphaltic roofing shingle production line and manage a skilled staff. You will champion safety, mentor team members, and drive performance improvements across the plant.

As a key member of the local leadership team, you will partner with EHS and operations to meet safety, quality, and production targets while controlling costs and promoting a One Team culture that advances lean practices and continuous process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in a safety-sensitive environment.
• HS diploma plus 6+ years in a safety-sensitive environment with leadership.
• 2+ years of people leadership and team building.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a production staff to meet safety, quality and output targets.
• Partner with EHS to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and safety culture.
• Drive continuous improvement via 5S, lean, and kaizen initiatives.
• Set clear objectives, allocate resources, and motivate teams to change.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain performance standards.
