Job summary

Sonova USA Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production assemblers and test technicians in our onsite manufacturing operation.

The role drives material and production planning, ensures quality and compliance, and leads teams to achieve safety, productivity, and service targets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of supervisory experience, with preference for experience in FDA-regulated medical device environments and lean production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated or medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in lean production and Class III medical devices preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team members while ensuring employee safety and compliance.
• Ensure all work follows documented procedures and quality standards.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly schedules to meet production targets.
• Escalate and troubleshoot line-down issues.
• Analyze productivity, WIP, and yield using continuous improvement methods.
• Prepare production reports and present performance updates.
• Coach employees, plan training, and support performance development.
