Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts client manufacturer seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement, and oversee safety, quality, and productivity across the facility.

This role partners with Engineering on design-to-build, develops KPIs for safety, quality, delivery and cost, coaches 30+ employees, and relentlessly improves throughput and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing teams of 30+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
• Experience in custom machinery, automation, capital equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• ERP/MRP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Manage machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and production activities.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with Engineering to support design-to-build execution.
• Lead quality, root-cause analysis, and corrective action efforts.
• Manage, coach, and develop production teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Improve operational efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.
