Job summary

IDEX Corporation, through its STC Material Solutions – Ceramics unit, seeks a Production Manager to drive safe, efficient operations and lean improvements across multiple departments. You will lead production leaders, optimize plant systems, and raise quality, delivery, uptime, throughput, and cost performance.

Champions safety, collaborates with engineering and quality teams, and develops training and staffing plans to sustain world-class production. Strong leadership and lean mindset required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and process optimization.
• Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and manages a team of production leaders; ensures quality and safety compliance and master production schedule.
• Stabilizes and improves manufacturing processes with Engineering for repeatable results and waste reduction.
• Communicates performance metrics to teams and ensures targets are met daily and weekly.
• Ensures safety training and regulatory compliance across plant personnel.
• Aligns production with master schedule and inventory/warehouse plans.
