Job summary

ProTech is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced facility in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and controlling production to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, and experience with lean manufacturing and ERP systems. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership.
• Experience in the flexographic printing industry is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production on the shop floor, guide staff, resolve issues and maintain productivity.
• Create and manage production schedules based on capacity and demand.
• Implement quality controls to ensure output meets standards and address non-conformances.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Track KPIs, report performance to management, and support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, customer service, and logistics to optimize production and supply chain.
• Lead the production team, set goals, monitor progress, and foster a safe, high-performance culture.
• Promote safety, quality, accountability, and integrity across the organization.
