Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations or engineering; 5+ years in manufacturing management overseeing medium-volume electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in a high-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/MES/WMS or similar operations software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe manufacturing techniques and tools are utilized.
• Ensure associates have proper training to perform their roles safely while adhering to safety policies.
• Lead Lean manufacturing strategies to reduce costs, inventory, and lead-times while improving quality.
• Champion 6S implementation and associate participation.
• Perform capacity planning to determine staffing levels required to meet production schedules.
• Oversee assembly and test staffing, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Use ERP for material analyses, production planning, and work order issuance.
