Job summary
LHH is seeking a Production Manager in California to plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead production teams, optimize resources, and drive continuous improvement to maximize productivity while reducing costs.
You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to optimize processes, manage staffing, and monitor KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor performance, quality, efficiency, and labor utilization to reach goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to optimize processes.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow.
