Job summary

LHH is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in Irwindale, CA. You will drive productivity, safety, and quality while developing high-performing teams and implementing Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to optimize processes, manage staffing and scheduling, and support cost reductions and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in production planning, scheduling, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Manage, coach, and develop supervisors and production team members.
• Monitor production performance, labor utilization, downtime, scrap, and quality metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to optimize operations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, and workforce planning.
• Support cost reduction initiatives, inventory management, and equipment uptime.
