Job summary

CPI Mobile LLC is seeking an Industrial Production Manager to lead production across multiple sites in the US, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output. The role requires traveling 30–50% and managing production supervisors to meet ambitious plastic grinding targets.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of production management experience, a 2-year technical degree or equivalent, and strong leadership with a process-driven approach. Usual hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. when not traveling.

Positions available: 1 Onsite / Remote: Work onsite all of the time

Production operator willing to travel to industrial sites throughout the US. Lead and optimize production to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Oversee and motivate production supervisors to meet and exceed daily post-industrial plastic grinding goals. Reports to the General Manager.

Ability to:

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA Regulations, and safety practices
• Instill through audit and correction a culture of zero accidents with 100% compliance in areas of safety, PPE and housekeeping.
• Plan, coordinate and control production activities to meet deadlines, quality, and output goals (minimum 150,000 lbs./week per production line)
• Develop and implement workflow policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Monitor production and adjust processes as needed for minimal downtime
• Manage and motivate traveling production staff, provide guidance and support, and instill discipline
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, to align production goals
• Maintain production costs within budget while ensuring output goals are met
• Receive field reports and compile data (budget, production, attendance, disciplinary and safety)
• Manage production employee recruitment, development, and training

Requirements:

• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Process oriented and operationally skilled
• Physical ability to bend, climb, squat, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs./pull 75 lbs.
• Comply with company and customer PPE requirements
• Proficient with smart devices and MS Office
• 2+ years industrial equipment operation experience (prior OSHA training is a plus)
• 12-hour shifts 6 days per week
• Valid unrestricted driver's license/reliable vehicle
• Travel nationwide (30 - 50%); Salaried position requires availability 6 days/week
• Regular office hours in local office a minimum of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. M - F when not traveling
• 2+ years of production management
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
