Job summary

Piller Aimmco is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across our multi-shift facility. You will report to the General Manager and directly manage approximately six production leaders, shaping priorities and driving performance in safety, quality, and delivery.

You will develop supervisors, remove barriers, and strengthen production systems while partnering with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other support functions to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience directly managing and developing supervisors or frontline leaders.
• Experience supporting production across multiple shifts.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, labor and capacity management, safety compliance, and quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to use production data to set priorities and improve results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and other production leaders.
• Establish clear expectations and reinforce accountability across all shifts.
• Maintain visibility into production performance, staffing, materials, equipment constraints, quality concerns, and operational risks.
• Oversee production scheduling, labor deployment, throughput, and delivery performance.
• Use production measures such as downtime, scrap, rework, cycle time, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, and OEE to guide decisions.
• Provide calm, decisive leadership during equipment failures, quality holds, staffing challenges, and changing customer needs.
• Build a safety-first culture and ensure hazards, incidents, and unsafe practices are addressed promptly.
• Promote a quality-first approach in which customer and product requirements are never sacrificed for short-term output.
• Strengthen standard work, visual management, operating routines, audits, and escalation processes.
• Identify recurring production problems and drive practical, sustainable improvements with defined scope, ownership, timelines, and outcomes.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, and other support functions.
• Support labor forecasting, capacity planning, budgeting, hiring, training, and succession planning.
• Communicate production performance, risks, priorities, and improvement progress to senior leadership.

We are looking for someone who can see the bigger picture while maintaining a strong understanding of what is happening throughout the plant. The Production Manager will establish priorities, develop supervisors, remove operational barriers, strengthen production systems, and drive consistent performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development.

What We're Looking For:

• At least five years of progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience directly managing and developing supervisors or comparable frontline leaders
• Experience supporting production across multiple shifts
• Strong knowledge of production planning, labor and capacity management, safety compliance, quality systems, and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to use production data to establish priorities, solve problems, and improve results
• Strong coaching, communication, conflict-management, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain composed and provide clear direction during high-pressure production situations
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production reporting, and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Preferred Experience

• Plastics injection molding or another complex manufacturing environment
• ISO 9001 or a comparable quality management system
• OEE and other manufacturing performance measures
• Lean, Six Sigma, or related continuous-improvement training or certification
