Job summary

CPI Mobile LLC, based in Seneca, SC, seeks an Industrial Machinery Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair shredding/grinding equipment and related systems. The role involves heavy mechanical work, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3-phase electrical components.

The successful candidate will travel nationwide up to 75% and collaborate with the maintenance/production team to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
• 2-year technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Strong 3-Phase electrical experience required.
• Welding skills and diesel engine repair experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with SOPs, OSHA Regulations, and safety practices; maintain housekeeping.
• Maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), inspections, and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace or repair defective components.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used, PM and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with maintenance/production team members to minimize downtime and optimize equipment efficiency.

Seeking a skilled industrial equipment mechanic to safely and efficiently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial shredding/grinding equipment , conveying systems, forklifts, rolling equipment, material handling blowers, etc. for post-industrial plastic grinding operations. Expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3-phase electrical components. Reports to Maintenance Manager.

Ability to:

• Comply with SOP's, OSHA Regulations, and safety practices; maintain housekeeping
• Maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), inspections, and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace or repair defective components

Additional Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Physical ability to bend, climb, squat, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to conform to company and customer PPE requirements and safety regulations
• Proficiency with smart devices and MS Office
• 2+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance and repair experience
• 2-year technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred
• Strong 3-Phase electrical experience required
• Welding skills and diesel engine repair experience preferred
• Good communication skills (bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus)
