Role Overview

The Production Manager will oversee production activities, develop and implement schedules, troubleshoot equipment, monitor productivity, ensure safety and compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Own production operations and become the process expert.
2. Develop and oversee production schedules.
3. Lead team meetings to address trends and issues.
4. Perform troubleshooting and basic repairs on electrical/electronic equipment.
5. Manage equipment maintenance and safety standards.
6. Train and develop plant personnel.
7. Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations.
8. Report to the Plant Manager on operational status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong background in process improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Mobility: bending, standing, walking, sitting, climbing.
• Ability to lift, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive movements.
• Work in dusty, noisy environments with physical activity.
