Location: Cherry Hill, NJ - Filling industrial

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Production Manager leads and directs the day-to-day operations of acetylene, hydrogen, and propane production. The role involves building and maintaining the facility's safety culture and performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staffing levels, and overseeing inventory control.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supervising daily activities within the industrial and gas filling operations.
2. Managing gas cylinder processing and ensuring compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
3. Promoting safety and compliance by addressing unsafe acts immediately.
4. Assigning tasks based on customer needs, stock levels, and employee expertise.
5. Analyzing production schedules and estimating worker hours.
6. Implementing improvements in production methods, equipment, and product quality.
7. Training new and cross-training employees to cover personnel shortages.
8. Coordinating inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
9. Resolving work problems and assisting workers in problem-solving.

To succeed, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field required. Consideration for up to 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment, preferably with technical knowledge of gases and gas analysis.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and related compliance activities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage metrics for efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Mathematical proficiency including measurement conversions and calculations.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Includes extended periods of stationary work, occasional physical lifting, and working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with safety considerations.
