Job summary

Ferrero is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for the night shift (7pm–7am) in Wisconsin. The starting rate is $23.00 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour night-shift premium, totaling $24.00 per hour during night hours.

Key duties include operating equipment, maximizing output, minimizing downtime and waste, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines as assigned on night shift.
• Maximize output and minimize downtime and waste.
• Keep machines and floors clean and free of debris.
• Identify machine problems and coordinate quick resolutions with maintenance.
• Ensure quality standards and proper packaging of products.
• Follow lockout procedures and perform safety checks as required.

About the Role

This opportunity is for a full-time Machine Operator on night shift starting from 7pm to 7am. The starting rate is $23.00 per hour. There is an additional shift premium of $1.00 per hour for night shift.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate machines as assigned
• Maximize output of equipment by minimizing downtime & minimize waste
• Ensure machine and floors are free from debris and product
• Identify machine problems and ensure they are resolved quickly
• Work well with maintenance in eliminating downtime
• Ensure product is produced / packaged according to company quality standards
• Ensure machine is locked out according to company safety policies and procedures
• Ensure Critical Control Points checks are completed
• Monitoring equipment on a regular basis
• Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are practiced and maintained
• Cleaning and sanitizing areas and equipment during changeover

• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
• Ability to meet/exceed goals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50lbs
• Meets the physical demands of the position
• Excellent eye and hand coordination
• Commitment to adhere to the company's GMPs including wearing uniforms and PPE
