Job summary

Ferrero seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Louisville, KY to ensure safe, efficient overnight production across molding, enrobing, and packaging. You will lead a small shift, coordinate with line leads and the Production Manager, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities to optimize production factors (material, methods, labor, machinery) and inform Line responsible and Production Manager for the shift.
• Manage all production phases within the assigned area (Preparation, Molding, Enrobing, Packaging).
• Oversee inventory within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure presence of packaging and raw materials for subsequent shifts through coordination with line leadership.
• Utilize knowledge of production lines, machinery, and performance indicators.
• Apply stock management and production planning principles.
• Apply production planning techniques and production performance analysis methods.
• Adhere to Ferrero Safety, Quality and Sanitation policies and production KPIs.

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Production Supervisor- 3rd Shift and are actively reviewing applications. We are a leading organization in the food industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Third Shift Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for ensuring efficient and safe production operations during the overnight hours.

Hours/ Schedule:

3rd Shift: 9:45p- 7:30a
Mon- Fri, with occasional weekend support as needed

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily activities for the optimization of the production factors (material, methods, labor force and machinery) providing all necessary information to Line responsible and Production Manager with the usage / handling of the single shift.
• Responsible within the shift for all production phases of their areas of competence within the assigned UGP. (Preparation, Molding, Enrobing, Packaging)
• Oversee the inventory inside their area of responsibility.
• Responsible for the presence of packaging/raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods for the successive shifts through coordination with the person in charge of the production line.
• Knowledge of production lines and machinery (production performance indicators, technological processes)
• Knowledge of stock management and production models
• Knowledge of planning techniques
• Knowledge and application of production performance analysis methods
• Knowledge and application of Ferrero Safety, Quality and Sanitation policies and procedures
• Knowledge and application of production KPI’s
