• Ensure product is produced/packaged per quality standards.
• Lock out machinery per safety policies.
• Complete Critical Control Points checks.
• Monitor equipment regularly.
• Maintain quality and food safety standards during operations.
• Clean and sanitize areas during changeovers.

Production Machine Operator- Night Shift

About the Role:

This opportunity is for a full-time Machine Operator on night shift starting from 7pm to 7am. The starting rate is $23.00 per hour. There is an additional shift premium of $1.00 per hour for night shift.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate machines as assigned
• Maximize output of equipment by minimizing downtime & minimize waste
• Ensure machine and floors are free from debris and product
• Identify machine problems and ensure they are resolved quickly
• Work well with maintenance in eliminating downtime
• Ensure product is produced / packaged according to company quality standards
• Ensure machine is locked out according to company safety policies and procedures
• Ensure Critical Control Points checks arecompleted
• Monitoring equipment on a regular basis
• Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are practiced and maintained
• Cleaning and sanitizing areas and equipment during changeover

About You:

• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
• Ability to meet/exceed goals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50lbs
