Job summary

GTI in Wisconsin is seeking a machine operator to load and unload parts, inspect, package, label, and keep a clean workspace.

You will operate assigned machinery, maintain cycle-time goals, and communicate with leads about discrepancies; training is provided.

Candidates must be 18+, have reliable transportation, be able to stand or sit for the shift, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in production is a plus; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be flexible to extended shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery throughout shift.
• Maintain product creation within designated cycle time at all times.
• Communicate with leads and/or supervisors of any discrepancies or assistance needed.
• Package finished product according to instruction; assure finished product meets quality and specifications.
• Correct/separate good/bad products consistently.
• Assemble finished product, if needed.
• Promote and exercise safety by using PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures while in the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness of area around assigned machine by picking up trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
• Assemble boxes to be used during shift and/or next shift.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Assist cell leads in relieving operators for breaks.
• Occasionally train new operators on assigned machines, as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness of area around assigned machine by picking up trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.

• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Assist cell leads in relieving operators for breaks
• Occasionally train new operators on assigned machines, as needed

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for the entire shift

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 10:45pm-7:15am (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)

Compensation:

• $15.50/hour
