Job summary

General Technologies, Inc. is seeking a machine operator responsible for loading and unloading parts and materials to and from our machines, inspecting parts, packing, labeling, and maintaining housekeeping in the plant.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing or sitting through shifts, and working Monday through Friday with potential extended hours and weekends. Compensation is $15.50/hour. Training will be provided and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have your own reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be flexible and able to work extended shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery throughout shift
• Maintain product creation within designated cycle time at all times
• Communicate with leads and/or supervisors of any discrepancies or assistance needed
• Package finished product according to instruction; assure finished product meets quality and specifications
• Correct/separate good/bad products consistently
• Assemble finished product, if needed
• Promote and exercise safety by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures while in the plant
• Maintain cleanliness of area around assigned machine by picking up trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
• Assemble boxes to be used during shift and/or next shift
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Assist cell leads in relieving operators for breaks
• Occasionally train new operators on assigned machines, as needed

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:45pm-7:15am (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)

Compensation

• $15.50/hour
