Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift operator to run basic machinery and support production on evenings in Michigan. You will load materials, monitor operations, and report issues to supervision while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

The role requires basic math, ability to work in a team, and familiarity with ERP systems. Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required, with a strong focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in basic math and able to use ERP systems.

Job Responsibilities

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
