Job summary

General Technologies, Inc in Texas (Stafford area) is seeking a machine operator responsible for loading and unloading parts, inspecting items, packing, labeling and maintaining a clean workstation. This role supports production lines during a night shift.

You will operate assigned machinery, meet cycle times, and collaborate with leads and supervisors while following safety policies and PPE requirements. Training is provided and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience in working in production setting is a plus (training provided).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have your own reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be flexible and able to work extended shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery throughout shift.
• Maintain product creation within designated cycle time at all times.
• Communicate with leads and/or supervisors of any discrepancies or assistance needed.
• Package finished product according to instruction; assure finished product meets quality and specifications.
• Correct/separate good/bad products consistently.
• Assemble finished product, if needed.
• Promote and exercise safety by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures while in the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness of area around assigned machine by picking up trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
• Assemble boxes to be used during shift and/or next shift.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Assist cell leads in relieving operators for breaks.
• Occasionally train new operators on assigned machines, as needed.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:45pm-7:15am (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)

Compensation

• $15.50/hour
