Job summary

Essity in Dover, DE is seeking a production operator to run and monitor manufacturing lines, load materials, and maintain quality under Essity safety standards. You will work with team leaders and fellow operators to keep production flowing and document data logs.

The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to learn, and basic math/computer skills. Overtime and weekend work may be needed; starting pay is $19.53 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry-level experience 1–3 years in production/manufacturing, or willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
• Ability to lift, stand, push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Quick learner.
• Overtime/weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor the production machine to keep production flowing and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing following SOPs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area; communicate with shifts and teammates.
• Ensure product quality by performing checks and rejecting items that don’t meet specs.
• Complete required production documentation and data logs.
