Job summary

Baxters North America is seeking a production operator to operate sealing, filling, cartoning and labeling machinery at our Cincinnati facility. You will verify and load correct materials, monitor product flow, and perform routine maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates read and follow simple instructions, perform basic math, and communicate in English. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with LOTO certification beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or one year related work experience or training.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence and keep records.
• Ability to operate equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sealing, Filling, Cartoning and/or Labeling machinery.
• Verify and load correct materials for the product being run.
• Operates equipment and performs routine maintenance.
• Observes upstream and downstream process to ensure smooth product flow.
• Cleans machinery as needed to maintain efficiency.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are low or materials are defective; notify supervisor and mechanic if machinery malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety rules, internal policies and Food Safety regulations.
