What's the Job?
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing
- Load and unload materials onto racks, carts, and conveyors
- Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks
- Prepare products for vacuum processing and packaging
- Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met
- Report any defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor
- Follow all food safety guidelines, including HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations
- Assist with Sanitation processes as needed
- Record production data, such as product counts and weights if applicable
- Communicate effectively with line leads, supervisors, and other team members about production or challenges

What's Needed?
- Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly and work in cold or hot environments while performing repetitive tasks accurately.
