Our client, food production is seeking a Packing Worker to join their team. As a Packing Worker, you will be part of the production team supporting the line and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety and food quality standards consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packing Worker
Location: Ferndale, WA
Pay Range: $19.00
Shift:3:30pm-1:30am
Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing
Load and unload materials onto racks, carts, and conveyors
Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks
Prepare products for vacuum processing and packaging
Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met
Report any defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor
Follow all food safety guidelines, including HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations
Assist with Sanitation processes as needed
Record production data, such as product counts and weights if applicable
Communicate effectively with line leads, supervisors, and other team members about production or challenges
Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred but not required).
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality.
Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly and work in cold or hot environments while performing repetitive tasks accurately.
