Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Packing Worker in Ferndale, WA to support line and packaging operations. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adherence to food quality and safety standards, with a 3:30pm-1:30am shift and a $19.00 per hour pay range.

Responsibilities include handling materials, labeling, boxing, palletizing, and maintaining cleanliness. Training for HACCP and sanitation is provided, with opportunities to contribute to safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
• Attention to detail, reliability and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in cold or hot environments while performing repetitive tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing.
• Load and unload materials onto racks, carts, and conveyors.
• Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks.
• Prepare products for vacuum processing and packaging.
• Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met.
• Report defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety guidelines, including HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations.
• Assist with sanitation processes as needed.
• Record production data such as product counts and weights.
• Communicate effectively with line leads and supervisors about production or challenges.
