Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Line Operator to supervise assigned production lines and ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. The role requires interpreting production work orders, overseeing equipment setup, and coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of extrusion processes, be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, and participate in EHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires overall knowledge of extruders, recycling procedures and resin properties.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to bend, twist, and rotate body at all times.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production lines and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Interpret and follow production work orders.
• Assist in training production assistants and organize work for smooth operations.
• Ensure product quality checks and equipment set-ups meet specifications.
• Support maintenance during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Report malfunctions or unsafe conditions to supervisor, participate in EHS policy.
