Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Line Operator to supervise production lines and ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping on assigned lines. The role emphasizes adherence to work orders, training of assistants, and collaboration with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Candidates must read and interpret safety and operating documents, communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, and actively participate in Amcor's safety programs and policies.

Qualifications

• Must understand extruders and recycling procedures with resin properties.
• Able to work a rotating 12-hour shift including holidays and weekends.
• Capable of bending, twisting, and rotating body as required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and comply with production work orders.
• Maintain knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Report process or equipment problems promptly.
• Assist in training production assistants.
• Organize work for smooth operations and safety.
• Ensure quality checks and equipment setups meet specifications.
• Support maintenance during breakdowns to minimize downtimes.
• Participate in safety programs and EHS objectives.
