Job summary

Jabil in Florence, Kentucky seeks a Production Supervisor to lead and motivate a team of operators to hit quality, schedule, yield and productivity targets in line with established procedures.

You will collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor, monitor hourly production, drive efficient line utilization, and act as a communication bridge between operators and management to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and ability to respond to questions from stakeholders.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Operate a PC with Windows and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Jabil software packages.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and visual aids.
• Perform basic arithmetic and work with measurements.
• Compute rates, ratios, and percent and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in managing the line and drive operators for efficiency.
• Highlight high fallout to the supervisor.
• Achieve the daily standard set by the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Identify and develop potential operators for the right equipment at the right time.
• Guide and assist operators with the skills required to do their jobs.
• Monitor hourly production status.
• Monitor CIQ system and ensure standards are met on the line.
• Serve as a communication link between operators and management.
