Jabil is seeking a Line Lead to oversee a production line, coordinate operators, and drive quality and efficiency. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain safety, and ensure timely completion of targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leading a team, coordinating with engineering and maintenance, and promoting lean practices to reduce downtime and waste. A strong manufacturing background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing or production, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, quality control, and safety.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read technical documents and production schedules.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production operators with coaching and feedback.
• Monitor processes for adherence to procedures, quality specs, and schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment and material flow issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Maintain production records and downtime metrics.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and QA to optimize lines.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Train new operators on procedures, equipment, and safety.
• Communicate status, concerns, and achievements to management.
