Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily operations at the Chillicothe, MO location. You will drive safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction while directing supervisors and frontline employees with the tools they need to perform safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include Lean manufacturing execution, continuous improvement, maintenance planning, and coordinating with planning and operations to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or operations management; Masters desired.
• 7–10 years in operations, maintenance, engineering or process improvement, with team management.
• Experience in a Lean environment.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to drive safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma, FMEA, and 8D problem analysis.
• Review production, safety, and quality reports; develop action plans with the team.
• Implement cost reduction and production quality improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor KPIs and production schedules; ensure coverage for vacations and absences.
