Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity. You will guide supervision and staff, utilizing Lean practices and problem-solving tools to optimize production performance.

The role entails coordinating with planning, managing maintenance, and interacting with customers and suppliers to meet schedules and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black belt a plus).
• Ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing practices (Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D).
• Prepare and review production, safety, and quality reports; develop action plans.
• Implement improvements for cost reduction, quality assurance and production.
• Coordinate with planning to meet production schedules and coverage for vacancies.
• Engage with customers and suppliers as needed; oversee maintenance programs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure cycle time targets and staff training across safety, quality, and production.
• Make decisions on work processes to meet operational objectives.
