Job summary

ITT Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Production Manager to lead all operational activities on the production floor, including scheduling, order fulfillment, warehouse management, engineering support and quality control, to produce conforming product and exceed customer expectations.

You will drive continuous improvement with LEAN and Six Sigma, ensure 5S and safety, manage budgets, train staff, and coordinate with planning to meet delivery targets while maintaining KPI performance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in mil/aerospace manufacturing.
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication; customer service.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all production programs and operations to achieve on-time and on-budget performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN and Six Sigma.
• Ensure 5S compliance and a strong focus on safety.
• Coordinate cross training and capacity planning across product lines.
• Interview and hire staff; oversee training and performance evaluations.
