Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years in leadership in mil/aerospace manufacturing; Lean Six Sigma experience; AS9100 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage production programs to achieve on-time and on-budget performance.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve production flow and efficiency.
• Ensure 5S and safety compliance with training.
• Cross-train staff across functional areas.
• Maintain Quality Management System per AS9100 requirements.
• Conduct GEMBA walks and lead production team meetings.
• Manage performance and conduct evaluations.
• Track KPIs and initiate corrective actions.
• Control costs and manage department budgets.
• Oversee facilities maintenance program and preventive upkeep.
• Coordinate with planning to meet orders and shipment deadlines.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings for manufacturing operations.
• Communicate across departments to align goals and metrics.
• Promote lean manufacturing throughout the facility.
• Recruit and train staff; handle grievances.
