Job summary

PlayCore is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality products. You will supervise production personnel, coordinate workflow across departments, and coach teams to achieve delivery and quality goals.

The role emphasizes developing employees, optimizing processes, and maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams and coaching staff.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze production data and manage production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, mentor and evaluate production employees to maximize quality and engagement.
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train employees as needed.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet goals.
• Monitor departmental performance and adjust resources to achieve targets.
• Manage production schedules, work orders, labor requirements, and material availability.
• Lead daily production team meetings and communicate priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead and support Lean, 5S, Kaizen, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment effectiveness.
• Prepare and distribute status reports and maintain accurate production records.
