Job summary

FastTek Global in Flint, Michigan, is seeking a Group Leader to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. This role leads efforts to improve efficiency, quality, and safety on the plant floor.

The position requires strong leadership, hands-on management of daily operations, and the ability to hire, train, and evaluate staff. On-site supervision will drive production tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production workers and coordinating daily operations.
• Ability to motivate staff and resolve production problems.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Recommend measures to improve methods, equipment performance, quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and consult with staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
