Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Entry-Level Group Leader for our Flint, MI manufacturing team. This role supports production operations with a focus on quality, process control, and continuous improvement, with growth into expanded leadership responsibilities.

You will analyze the daily plan, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, oversee production, inspection, and GM Built-in-Quality initiatives, and apply SPQRCE principles to drive accountability and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime
• Pass drug test and background check
• Able to listen, read and follow safety instructions
• Able to solve problems in fast-paced environments and make decisions

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to the daily manufacturing plan and adjust operations as needed
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Oversee production, inspection and Built-in-Quality initiatives
• Apply SPQRCE principles to drive safety, people, quality, responsiveness, cost and environment
• Drive accountability through people and processes and handle difficult conversations
