Job summary

TRG is seeking a capable production leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Michigan. The role focuses on improving production methods, equipment performance and product quality while driving efficiency across the plant.

Responsibilities include staff hiring, training, evaluation and discipline, plus developing tracking and quality control systems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in production, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in production or operations.
• Verbal communication, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including maintenance.
• Knowledge of design techniques for production drawings and models.

Responsibilities

• Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
