Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, reporting to the Director of Operations. The role emphasizes driving efficiency, safety, and quality across all projects, while coaching teams and delivering on targets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading manufacturing teams, developing relationships, and implementing process improvements in a hydraulics-related environment or similar industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in industrial maintenance, business, or related field is required or preferred.
• Experience leading teams and executing business initiatives is essential.
• Ability to develop relationships and foster a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely completion of projects and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and profitability.
• Communicate job expectations to hourly and salary staff; monitor and appraise production results.
• Coach and counsel employees; manage performance and training as needed.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, equipment, and resources; report daily results and adjust as necessary.
• Assign personnel, set priorities, monitor progress, resolve problems, and orient/train staff.
• Ensure safety rules, PPE compliance, and safe working conditions for all employees.
• Uphold quality policies and procedures and keep equipment and facilities clean and safe.
