Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Production Lead to provide overall leadership in production, testing, inventory management, and manpower distribution within the department. The role includes guiding production staff, coordinating with VSM, SC, and quality teams, and ensuring procedures and documentation are current.

The position emphasizes safety, data-driven problem solving, lean improvements, and strong communication to maintain high performance and deliverables in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and use data to solve problems.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a high level of safety and a team-oriented working environment.
• Schedule all work in the assigned production area with leaders and supply chain.
• Coordinate training and 5S discipline within the area.
• Keep procedures, work instructions, routers, and forms up to date.
• Ensure quality testing and documentation are properly recorded.
• Manage materials and finished goods inventories accurately.
• Handle and store chemicals in compliance with regulations; hazardous waste handling included.
• Assist in updating procedures and training materials as needed.
• Support the team improvement board and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery improvements.
• Lead by example in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
