Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly associates across receiving, processing, production and shipping, ensuring smooth operations and safety on the floor.

You will drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement while coaching teams, upholding USDA, QA and facility standards, and partnering with maintenance and other departments to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2–3 years in manufacturing; 1+ year in supervision.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills for associate development.
• Knowledge of ISO/OSHA standards and quality control processes.
• Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with ERP (SAP) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Optimize labor, materials and equipment use for cost efficiency.
• Maintain production records and report status to management.
• Ensure safety and compliance with food safety standards.
• Lead staff development and engagement.
• Collaborate with QA, engineering and supply chain.
