Job summary

Perdue Foods seeks a Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams across receiving, processing, production and shipping. You will champion quality, safety and lean improvements while guiding daily operations and ensuring products move smoothly through the warehouse.

You will mentor associates, enforce standards, monitor performance, and collaborate with QA, engineering and supply chain to sustain a high‑performing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment with supervision experience.
• Familiar with quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production to meet schedules, quality and output goals.
• Enforce safety protocols and training to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment use.
• Lead lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain production records and report status to management.
• Act as liaison between production and engineering, QA and supply chain.
