Job summary

ATC Drivetrain LLC is seeking a Team Leader for our Knoxville, TN production team. The role coordinates and leads production personnel and processes to ensure safe, efficient operations and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years in operations or lean environments, with strong PC and ERP skills. Expect hands-on leadership with some shift flexibility and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of operations and/or lean experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a safe work environment at all times.
• Responsible for housekeeping and 5S activity in the area.
• Responsible for product quality through auditing and verification of operator conformance to standards, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Audits products and scrap to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines or methods.
• Facilitates continuous improvement with a focus on employee involvement.
• Supports Supervisor in developing personnel through training and performance reviews and other administrative duties.
• Responsible for employee training, cross-training, and maintenance of training records.
• Adjusts manpower assignments to meet production schedules.
• Assures necessary materials and supplies are available and used appropriately for production.
• Assists in implementing new procedures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Maintains production records.
• Performs the duties of production workers supervised when needed.
