Job summary

ATC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Team Leader to coordinate and lead production personnel and processes on the shop floor. The role oversees 10–25 employees and ensures safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations.

The Team Leader will promote continuous improvement, support training, and maintain production records while adjusting manpower and resources to meet schedules. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of operations and/or lean experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and related business processes.
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a safe work environment at all times.
• Responsible for housekeeping and 5s activity in the area.
• Responsible for product quality through auditing and verification of operator conformance to standards, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Audits products and scrap to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines or methods.
• Facilitates continuous improvement with a focus on employee involvement.
• Supports Supervisor in developing personnel through training, performance reviews, and other administrative duties.
• Responsible for employee training, cross-training, and maintenance of training records.
• Adjusts manpower assignments to meet production schedules.
• Assures necessary materials and supplies are available and used appropriately for production.
• Assists in the implementation of new procedures or processes to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Maintains production records.
• Performs the duties of production workers supervised when needed.
