Job summary

Altek Electronics, a Cyient DLM company, seeks a Production Lead in Torrington, CT to organize workflow and ensure timely completion of operator duties. The role emphasizes LEAN manufacturing, takt board management, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Mon-Fri, 12:00pm-8:30pm with a 10% shift differential. You will coach operators, monitor productivity, and maintain a safe, organized work environment while following 6S principles and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operators complete duties on time with steady workflow.
• Support and champion lean manufacturing. Facilitate training.
• Maintain and update the takt board as necessary.
• Review production/shipping schedules and adjust as needed.
• Provide guidance to operators to improve competence.
• Schedule and document line meetings at least twice weekly.
