Job summary

Altek Electronics, Inc. in Torrington, CT is seeking a Production Lead to oversee the flow of work in a manufacturing cell.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operators complete job duties on time while maintaining a steady flow of work.
• Support and champion CFM and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Facilitate the training of employees per Altek’s training requirements.
• Maintain and update the Takt board as necessary.
• Review and understand the production/shipping schedule(s).
• Provide guidance and instruction to operators to improve competence.
• Schedule, conduct, & document meetings with line operators at least twice per week.
• Perform all normal job functions/duties of your area.
• Responsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines/procedures.
• Responsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and procedures.
• Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S.
• Monitor associates’ productivity and make adjustments as needed to improve throughput.

Salary Range: $18.70 To $25.30 Annually
